LATIN DANCE AND MUSIC: A HISTORY, WITH LOANDER AND JESÚS: FRIDAY, 26TH.

We are delighted to present a history of Latin American music and dance, this Friday the 26 th of January, at 8pm in the Yeats Building.   The talk will be given by Loander and Jesús, who have been living and teaching Latin Dance in Sligo for four years, but who are originally from Venezuela. There will be demonstrations of dance and music from South America, and as always, we will enjoy some wine and tapas after the event. All are welcome. NEW YEAR SPANISH COURSES, BEGIN JANUARY 22ND.

Our New Year Spanish courses begin the week of January 22nd, 2018. We have courses for all levels – details below……. Registration We ask anyone who wants to do a course with us to come to Registration and pay the course cost in full. Registration is on Thursday, January 18th, in the Yeats Building, Sligo, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Duration and times Every course lasts 10 weeks. Every class is from 7.30pm to 8.45pm, except the Leaving Cert course (6.00pm to 7.15pm) Location Classes take place in IT Sligo. Prices All courses (except the Leaving Cert course) cost €130 – or €110 for students or the unemployed. The Leaving cert course costs €120. LEVELS  (from lowest level to highest) BEGINNERS – THURSDAYS Our Beginners' course starts on Thursday, January 25th at 7.30pm. This is for those people who want to start from the very beginning.
